Economy Checkbook

This year your child will learn how to use a checkbook and what it is like to earn a paycheck and pay bills in our Economy Behavior  Management plan.  Students will be paid for their attendance and completed work.


In the winter months they will be charged for their use of electricity, furniture, water as well as make a savings plan for events that arise through out the year.

Students will also be charged for personal choices that they make.  Below you can see the entire plan.

Pay Day

Each day that your child is in class they will be paid $5.00 in Roman Bucks.

At the end of the pay period they will calculate their total earnings, pay bills, fines, and taxes.  They will add it to their ledger in order to spend some money on dream items later in the year.

Jobs

Each student will get a classroom job that will change every 2 weeks.   All jobs will be paid according to their challenge and the students  thoroughness in doing the job.

Daily Behavior 

Student choices can also earn or cost them money. Any time a student receives a 100% on a test/quiz they will earn $100.    When students 

Monthly Pay Days

On the last day of the pay period, students will engage in figuring out their personal pay check, fines/bonuses, bills, and what rewards they might want to purchase for the next month. Volunteers to help welcome!
