Critical Literacy
Bias: is a belief that one thing is better than another. Often without taking into consideration facts or other viewpoints.
Opinion: is a belief or judgment about something
Bias and Opinion differ in that a "bias" implies a prejudice; an opinion is a thought often not needing facts.
Example: I hate green peas! - This is an opinion, no facts are needed
Green peas are the absolute worst vegetable on the planet! - This demonstrates bias, as there is a prejudice.
